That totally makes sense. And yeah, I'm totally cool with this being a gradual thing, and I was planning on picking up that second-tier lab perk anyway, so there you go. With her higher clearance, would there be any particular kind of networking options for getting friendly with some of the military scientists? I was thinking of tossing her at the advanced tech perk for something in that direction (Nat would totally be the type to be all "oh pls teach me wise science guy" as a way to open the door further) if that could be leveraged that way?
ALSO: if getting access to parts is a thing she can do, does this mean she could maybe build some smaller things first as proof of concept? I was thinking maybe she starts with these electro-EMP discs she uses. They seem to work pretty much exactly like her gauntlets except they're small throwing projectiles (about the size of a quarter or so).
