Amai was involved in BARRAYAR'S NEXT TOP GHEM MODEL, yes! She was also the ghem lady heard arguing with Diya in Feb I's mystery plot. She'll be on the Feb II log, so if you'd like to do a LET'S TALK FASHION thread, you can totally hit her up there. She can likely find some Cetagandan equivalent of whatever dance shoes she's looking for among the ghem ladies.

As far as a lab thread -- Amai doesn't work in R&D, but if you give me an idea of what you'd like out of the thread I can probably work something up! That said, I don't know how interesting a basic tour of the lab by a random NPC would be as opposed to giving you the info, but the science advisory interviews will take place in the lab.
