Personality: a clear but concise rundown of what your character is like. Bullet point lists are fine!
Background/AU details: a wiki link is fine, and if it’s incomplete, you can supplement as you feel is necessary. If your character is an AU of any kind, feel free to wiki link a background and highlight the changes/differences, but be concise -- this section doesn’t need to be long.
Strengths & weaknesses: a brief bullet point list is fine. This can include your character’s skills, special talents, vices, physical weaknesses, etc.
Depowering/humanization: for non-human and superpowered characters, some adjustment is required. Please list any special powers your character may have; these will be nullified on arrival, but may come into play later. Please also indicate whether or not these powers are genetically inherited or otherwise linked to their DNA.
Similarly, if your character is non-humanoid, a certain degree of humanization may be required (please see the FAQ for details); if your character is being humanized, please give us a brief (a few sentences max) rundown of any noteworthy traits or abilities their species has.
If you need help with figuring this out, or have questions about powers that may be vital to your character’s ability to function, the mods are happy to help work this section out prior to submitting your app.
Placement preference: please list which side you would prefer your character to be placed on and why. We will attempt to honor all requests, but depending on the PC distribution, not everyone will get their preferred choice.
Character goals: a few sentences (or a bullet-point list) detailing how you think your character will interact with the setting and/or NPCs and long-term goals with your side preference in mind. These don’t have to be concrete goals, and we’re not going to hold you to them -- we just want to see some thought given to how your character will fit into this setting.
Sample: only one log sample is needed; this can be written from scratch or linked from either the TDM or elsewhere. Linked samples should have about 5 comments from your character.
