Okay, do natural abilities count as powers? Lafiel is a genetically engineered human*. Most of her traits are subtle (increased acceleration tolerance and balance, doesn't lose bone mass in microgravity, etc.) or won't come up (Abh age very slowly and live to be 200 years... maybe longer if they didn't engineer in 'heart failure' as the first sign of aging, because screw age-related disability) but she does have a third, compound eye, that gives her expanded peripheral vision (that plus the tiara she wears means she effectively has 360° vision).
Since this is a natural ability from genetic engineering (thus, fitting the tone of the game), not a supernatural power, and also not particularly game-breaking, I assume it is fine, but I wanted to check.
* The Abh have a pretty similar backstory to the quaddies, except their creators wanted them to not be useless in gravity, and their reaction also included 'the only way for us to be safe from planet-dwellers is to control all interstellar travel, so let's conquer the galaxy'.
